RSUD Tarakan-Bank DKI Improve Collaboration in Health and Financial Services

Tarakan General Hospital (RSUD) and PT. Bank DKI collaborates in the field of health and financial services. This collaboration was marked by signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Service Optimization and Synergy between Tarakan Hospital Director, Dian Ekowati and PT. Bank DKI UMK Credit and Sharia Business Director, Babay Parid Wazdi.

Dian said, as a Class A hospital within Jakarta Govenrment and regional reference hospital for Jakarta area, RSUD Tarakan continues to be committed to maintain and improve its capabilities and service quality to the public.

"It is in line with UU No. 44/2009 in which hospitals are required to provide safe, quality, anti-discrimination, and effective services by prioritizing patients according to hospital service standards," she said after MoU signing at RSUD Tarakan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (5/20).

She explained, one of her efforts to improve services to public is to collaborate with PT. Bank DKI in providing health services for Bank DKI employees ranging from facilities, health workers, health facilities, medicines, and other medical devices.

"RSUD Tarakan has reliable facilities and resources to serve Jakarta residents. Cooperation with Bank DKI is a part of Jakarta Government and Jakarta residents, that is expected to optimize human resources and provide benefits not only for Jakarta residents but also to all employees at PT. Bank DKI," she stated.

PT. Bank DKI employees, she continued, can take medical checkups at RSUD Tarakan, including female checkup, breast cancer, cervical cancer, pre-marriage, health checks before worship to holy land, health check for overseas visits, Covid-19 screening, drug screening, mental health, and IQ test. It includes types of medical checkup packages at RSUD Tarakan, namely basic, bronze and gold.

"Cooperation between RSUD Tarakan and Bank DKI is not only in terms of medical checkup services, but also post-medical checkups," she mentioned.

According to her, PT. Bank DKI employees who need other health services, such as further heart examination, surgery, malignancy services, or other endocrine disease services such as sugar, can be carried out through one-stop service. She added that specialist doctors and consultants at RSUD Tarakan are ready to provide the services.

"We are committed to provide excellent service to 3,500 PT. Bank DKI employees. Through this cooperation, patient visits will be facilitated with cashless method via Bank DKI thus we can keep up with advances in information technology," she said.

Meanwhile, Babay Parid Wazdi, Director of PT. Bank DKI's UMK and Sharia Business, Babay conveyed, there are around 3,500 existing employees and new hires every months.

"Through this cooperation, PT. Bank DKI and RSUD Tarakan are collaborating to conduct medical test for new employees," he said.

The existing employees, he mentioned, can take general checkup or other services at RSUD Tarakan with special prices and maximum service. According to him. RSUD Tarakan is a Class A Hospital with good service quality which equivalent to other bona fide private hospitals.

"I think RSUD Tarakan has very good health services. Bank DKI facilitates employees' health and the costs are borne by Bank DKI. I encouraged employees not to hesitate to have medical checkup at RSUD Tarakan, since its services are equivalent to other top residents," he said.

PT. Bank DKI, he continued, is ready to provide services for doctors, nurses, and other employees at RSUD Tarakan, one of which is related to financial or banking system, such as providing loan assistance with different conveniences and benefits from other banks.

"PT. Bank DKI provides financial system for doctors, nurses, and other employees at RSUD Tarakan. In banking system, PT. Bank DKI facilitates Bank DKI employees' health, thus it is truly a symbiotic mutualism," he said.
